This was at one point the only pub in Otley not to subscribe to the Pub Watch scheme. This led to it's demise. It was bought and done up by a local bistro and after about a year this business failed. It seems now again to be a pub that also major's in food. The beer garden is very nice, heated and decked. In fact this was the first pub in Otley to have out door heating (not the R+C as they claimed).
